Sales & Marketing Assistant

Recent graduate or early professional with a dynamic and outgoing personality is desired to fulfill a sales and marketing role for a young and growing company! A background and education in business, sales and marketing is advantageous.

    This position entails working with the company principals and will require the following tasks:

  • Assemble project reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations.
  • Review and research current bid opportunities.
  • Work with marketing departments of other firms to develop bid packages.
  • Update databases by inputting data from field sales; compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations; distributing reports.
  • Support sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration and product capability booklets; compiling account and competitor analyses.
  • Prepare mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing and internet packages.
  • Provide marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Maintain marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Manage and maintain company website and social media accounts.
  • Develop CRM system with accounting system.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Attend networking events on behalf of the company.
  • Cold calls will be necessary.

    • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
    • Recent graduate with some experience desired, but not necessary.
    • Good customer service skills.
    • Outgoing, creative and energetic personality.
    • Not afraid to pick up the phone and make calls.
